The M SANMERSEN 61-Key Electronic Keyboard Piano is designed for beginners, offering a range of features including multiple tones, rhythms, demo songs, and recording capabilities. It aims to provide an engaging musical experience for users aged 3 and up.

2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • 61-Key Electronic Keyboard Piano
  • Microphone
  • Music Stand
  • USB Power Cable
  • User Manual (this document)

2.2 Power Supply

The keyboard can be powered by two methods:

  1. USB Power Cable: Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the keyboard and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
  2. Batteries: Insert 6 "AA" size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the keyboard. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

Note: Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the keyboard will not be used for an extended period.

2.3 Microphone Connection

Connect the microphone cable into the microphone input jack on the keyboard. The microphone is typically found in a separate small box within the packaging.

2.4 Music Stand Assembly

Insert the music stand into the designated slots on the top rear of the keyboard. This stand is used to hold sheet music or a tablet.

3.1 Power On/Off

Locate the POWER ON/OFF switch, usually on the left side of the control panel. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on the keyboard. Slide it to "OFF" to power off.

3.2 Volume and Tempo Control

  • Volume: Use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the overall sound level.
  • Tempo: Use the TEMPO +/- buttons to adjust the speed of rhythms or demo songs.

3.3 Tones, Rhythms, and Demos

  • Tones: Press the TONE button and then use the number keys or +/- buttons to select from 16 different instrument tones.
  • Rhythms: Press the RHYTHM button and then use the number keys or +/- buttons to select from 10 different rhythm patterns. Press START/STOP to begin or end the rhythm.
  • Demos: Press the DEMO button to cycle through 6 pre-recorded demo songs. Press DEMO again to stop.

3.4 Record and Playback

  • Record: Press the RECORD button. Play your desired melody on the keys. The keyboard will record your performance.
  • Playback: After recording, press the PLAY button to listen to your recorded melody.

3.5 Learning Modes (OKON/Follow)

The keyboard includes learning modes to assist beginners:

  • OKON Mode: (One Key One Note) In this mode, you can play any key to advance the melody of a demo song.
  • Follow Mode: The keyboard waits for you to play the correct note of a demo song before proceeding.

Refer to the specific buttons labeled OKON and FOLLOW on the control panel to activate these modes.

3.6 Chords (Single/Finger)

The keyboard supports chord functions:

  • Single Chord: Press the SINGLE CHORD button. Play a single key in the chord zone (typically the left-most keys) to produce a chord.
  • Finger Chord: Press the FINGER CHORD button. Play a full chord shape in the chord zone to produce the corresponding chord.

3.7 LED Display

The integrated LED display shows current settings such as selected tone, rhythm, volume level, and tempo. This provides visual feedback during operation.

3.8 Microphone Usage

Once connected, the microphone allows users to sing along while playing. Ensure the microphone is held at an appropriate distance for clear sound pickup. The microphone volume is typically controlled by the main volume setting of the keyboard.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Wipe the keyboard surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish.

4.2 Storage

Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

4.3 Battery Replacement

When the keyboard's performance diminishes or it fails to power on with batteries, replace all 6 "AA" batteries with new ones. Always ensure correct polarity.
