2. Setup
2.1. What's in the Box

Your Logitech POP Keys keyboard package includes:

2.2. Battery Installation
The keyboard comes with two AAA batteries. If not pre-installed, locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely. The keyboard is designed for up to 3 years of battery life under typical usage conditions.

2.3. Connectivity
The POP Keys keyboard offers versatile connectivity options, allowing you to pair with up to three devices simultaneously.

2.3.1. Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the keyboard using the ON/OFF switch located on the side.
- Press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (F1, F2, or F3) for three seconds until the LED light above the key starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, or phone), open Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech POP Keys" from the list of available devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED light will turn solid for 5 seconds to confirm successful pairing.
2.3.2. Logi Bolt USB Receiver Connection
- Locate the Logi Bolt USB receiver in the keyboard's packaging or battery compartment.
- Plug the Logi Bolt USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the keyboard using the ON/OFF switch. The keyboard should automatically connect to the receiver.
- If the connection is not established automatically, you may need to use the Logitech Options software to pair the keyboard with the receiver.

3. Operating the Keyboard
3.1. Customizable Emoji Keys
The POP Keys keyboard features 8 swappable emoji keys and 1 emoji menu key on the right side. These keys can be customized to your preferred emojis or other functions using the Logitech Options software.

- To swap an emoji key, gently pull the existing keycap upwards to remove it.
- Select one of the extra emoji keycaps provided in the box and align it with the switch on the keyboard.
- Press down firmly until the keycap snaps into place.
- To customize the function of these keys, download and install the Logitech Options software. Within the software, you can assign specific emojis or other shortcuts to each key.
3.2. Multi-Device Switching
Easily switch between up to three paired devices using the Easy-Switch keys (F1, F2, F3) located at the top left of the keyboard.
- Simply press the F1, F2, or F3 key corresponding to the device you wish to use. The keyboard will instantly switch its connection to that device.
- Ensure the desired device is within range and has Bluetooth enabled (if connecting via Bluetooth).
3.3. Function Keys and Shortcuts
The keyboard includes a row of function keys (F1-F12) that double as media keys and shortcuts.
- F1-F3 (Easy-Switch): Switch between paired devices.
- F4 (Snip Screen): Capture screenshots.
- F5 (Mic Mute): Mute/unmute microphone.
- F6 (Voice-to-Text): Activate dictation (requires Logitech Options software and OS support).
- F7-F9 (Media Controls): Rewind, Play/Pause, Fast Forward.

When the battery indicator light on the keyboard turns red, it's time to replace the batteries.
- Turn off the keyboard.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the keyboard.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
