Setup and Installation
1. Adjusting the Headrest and Harness

2. Recline Positions

3. ISOFIX Installation (Recommended)
The XOMAX S66 can be securely installed using the ISOFIX system. This method provides a rigid connection to the vehicle's chassis.
- Locate the ISOFIX anchor points in your vehicle (usually marked with an ISOFIX symbol).
- Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat base by pressing the release button (refer to image).
- Align the ISOFIX connectors with the vehicle's anchor points and push firmly until they click into place. Green indicators should appear, confirming a secure connection.
- Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle's seat back to remove any slack.

4. Vehicle Seat Belt Installation (Alternative)
If your vehicle does not have ISOFIX anchor points, or for specific group installations, the car seat can be secured using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt.
- Place the car seat on the vehicle seat.
- Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated belt guides on the car seat. Ensure the belt is not twisted.
- Buckle the vehicle seat belt and pull it taut to remove any slack. The car seat should be firmly secured with minimal movement.
- For Group 2 and 3 children, the car seat's internal 5-point harness should be removed and the child secured directly with the vehicle's 3-point seat belt, using the car seat as a booster.

Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions
- The car seat cover is removable and washable.
- Wash the cover at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild detergent. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
- To remove the cover, carefully unfasten all clips and elastic loops.
- Clean the plastic parts of the car seat with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspect the harness straps regularly for wear and tear. Clean them with a damp cloth; do not machine wash as this can weaken the webbing.
Troubleshooting
- Car seat feels loose after installation: Recheck all installation steps. Ensure ISOFIX connectors are fully engaged (green indicators visible) or the vehicle belt is pulled taut and correctly routed through all guides. Push the car seat firmly into the vehicle seat.
- Harness straps are twisted: Unbuckle the harness and carefully untwist the straps. Ensure they lie flat against the child's body.
- Child's head falls forward when sleeping: Adjust the recline position to a more reclined angle if appropriate for the child's weight group and installation type. Ensure the headrest is correctly adjusted.
- Difficulty adjusting headrest/harness: Ensure no fabric or other obstructions are blocking the adjustment mechanism. Refer to the setup section for correct adjustment procedures.
