Setup

1. Installing Poop Bags

1. Locate the integrated poop bag dispenser on the side of the leash housing.
2. Twist the dispenser counter-clockwise to detach it from the leash.
3. Insert a roll of standard-sized poop bags into the dispenser.
4. Feed the first bag through the opening.
5. Reattach the dispenser by aligning it and twisting clockwise until it locks securely in place. Ensure it is twisted firmly to prevent it from falling off during use.

2. Charging the LED Light

1. Locate the USB charging port cover on the leash.
2. Open the cover and connect the provided USB charging cable.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
4. Charge for approximately 2 hours for a full charge. The LED light provides up to 7 hours of battery life.
5. Close the USB port cover after charging to protect it from dust and moisture.

Operating Instructions

1. Holding the Leash

Grip the ergonomic anti-slip handle firmly. The handle is designed for comfort and to reduce fatigue during extended use.

2. Using the Brake and Lock System

The leash features a one-button brake and lock mechanism for quick control:

• Free: When the button is not pressed, the leash extends and retracts freely, allowing your dog more range of motion.
• Pause: Press and hold the button to temporarily stop the leash from extending. Release the button to resume free movement.
• Locked: Push the button forward to lock the leash at a desired length. This provides a fixed leash length.
• Unlocked: Pull the button backward to release the lock and allow the leash to retract or extend freely again.

3. Using the LED Light

The built-in LED light enhances visibility during night walks:

• Locate the power button for the LED light, typically near the light itself.
• Press the button once to turn the LED light on.
• Press the button again to turn the LED light off.

4. Using the Poop Bag Dispenser

To access a poop bag, simply pull the end of the bag from the dispenser opening. Tear along the perforation to detach a single bag.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the leash housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the leash in water. The leash tape can be gently cleaned with mild soap and water, then allowed to air dry completely before retracting.
• Storage: Store the leash in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
• Battery Care: Recharge the LED light battery regularly to maintain its performance. Avoid fully depleting the battery for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• LED Light Not Charging: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the leash and the power source. Try a different USB cable or power adapter. If the issue persists after trying multiple charging methods, the internal battery may be faulty.
• Leash Not Retracting Properly: Check for any twists or knots in the leash tape. Ensure the tape is clean and free of debris. If the issue continues, the internal retraction mechanism may be obstructed or damaged.
• Poop Bag Dispenser Falls Off: Ensure the dispenser is twisted clockwise firmly until it locks into place. A loose connection can cause it to detach during movement.
