Setup and Installation
This tilting TV wall mount is designed for easy 3-step installation on 16" or 24" wood studs. Ensure you have the necessary tools (e.g., stud finder, drill, level, screwdriver) before beginning.

Step 1: Attach Brackets to TV
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware packet that fit your TV's mounting holes.
- Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV, ensuring they are centered and securely fastened. The brackets should be oriented so the hooks face upwards and the pull-straps are at the bottom.
Step 2: Mount Wall Plate to Wall
- Locate two adjacent wood studs using a stud finder. Mark the center of each stud at the desired height for your TV.
- Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning its mounting holes with your marked stud centers. Use a level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.
- Mark the pilot hole locations. Drill pilot holes into the center of the studs.
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten all bolts firmly, but do not overtighten.
Step 3: Hang TV on Wall Plate
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
- Hook the top of the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate.
- Gently lower the TV until the brackets fully engage with the wall plate.
- Engage the safety locking mechanisms (typically pull-straps or screws at the bottom of the brackets) to secure the TV to the wall plate.
Post-Installation Leveling
This mount features a leveling design that allows for easy adjustment even after installation. Refer to the specific mechanism on your mount (usually small adjustment screws on the TV brackets) to fine-tune the TV's horizontal level.
Operating the Tilt Feature
The Member's Mark Tilting TV Wall Mount allows you to effortlessly adjust your TV's vertical viewing angle by up to 10 degrees. This feature is designed to reduce glare from windows or lighting and optimize your viewing experience.
- To tilt the TV, gently grasp the top and bottom edges of your TV.
- Carefully push the top of the TV backward or pull the bottom forward to achieve the desired tilt angle. No tools are required for this adjustment.
- The mount will hold the TV securely at the chosen angle.
The low-profile design keeps your TV only 2.32 inches from the wall, while the tilting mechanism still provides easy access to cables behind the TV when tilted.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure. Loose fasteners can compromise safety.
- Weight Limit: Do not hang additional items on the mount or exceed the maximum weight capacity of 150 lbs.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your TV wall mount, refer to the following common solutions:
- TV is not level: Use the post-installation leveling feature to adjust the TV's horizontal position. Ensure the wall plate was installed level initially.
- TV feels unstable: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall plate and TV bracket fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened. Verify that the wall studs are properly engaged and the wall can support the weight.
- Difficulty tilting: Ensure no cables are obstructing the tilting mechanism. The tilt should be effortless; if it feels stiff, check for obstructions or contact support.
