3. Setup

3.1 Physical Placement

Position the Rally Bar Mini centrally, typically below or above your meeting room display. Ensure it has a clear line of sight to participants and is not obstructed.

3.2 Connecting Cables

  1. Power: Connect the power adapter to the Rally Bar Mini and then to an electrical outlet.
  2. Display: Connect the HDMI cable from the Rally Bar Mini to your meeting room display.
  3. Computer (USB Mode): If using the Rally Bar Mini as a USB device with a computer, connect the USB-C to USB-A cable from the Rally Bar Mini to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer.
  4. Network: For appliance mode or management, connect an Ethernet cable to the network port.

3.3 Initial Power On

Once connected, the Rally Bar Mini will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including network configuration and selecting your preferred operating mode (appliance or USB).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Operating Modes

  • Appliance Mode: The Rally Bar Mini runs supported video conferencing applications (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms) directly on the device without requiring an external computer. Manage meetings using the included remote control or a touch controller (sold separately).
  • USB Mode: Connect the Rally Bar Mini to a PC or Mac via USB. The device functions as a camera, microphone, and speaker for any video conferencing application running on the connected computer.

4.2 Camera Control

The integrated camera features motorized pan and tilt, along with 4x digital zoom. Use the remote control to adjust the camera's view. The AI Viewfinder helps with RightSight auto-framing, keeping participants in view.

4.3 Audio Management

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Power

6.2 No Video Output

  • Check the HDMI cable connection between the Rally Bar Mini and the display.
  • Ensure the display is set to the correct input source.

6.3 No Audio (Microphone/Speaker)

  • Check the volume level on the Rally Bar Mini and your display.
  • Ensure the microphone is not muted (check the remote control or on-screen indicator).
  • In USB mode, verify the Rally Bar Mini is selected as the audio input/output device in your computer's sound settings and video conferencing application.

6.4 Camera Not Responding

  • Ensure the lens cap is removed.
  • Restart the Rally Bar Mini.
  • Check for any physical obstructions to the camera lens.
