Setup Guide
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
- Insert the two supplied AAA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Place each handset on its respective charging cradle or the main base unit. Ensure the 'CHARGE' indicator on the handset lights up.
- Allow the handsets to charge for at least 7 hours before initial use to ensure full battery capacity.
2. Connecting the Base Unit
- Connect the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the base unit and to your telephone wall jack.
- Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the base unit and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
- Ensure all cables are securely connected.
Operating Instructions
Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call: Pick up a handset, dial the number, and press the TALK button.
- Answering a Call: When the phone rings, press the TALK button.
- Ending a Call: Press the OFF button or place the handset back on the base unit/charger.
- Speakerphone: During a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button to activate the full duplex speakerphone. Press again to return to handset mode.
Link2Cell Bluetooth Connectivity
The Link2Cell feature allows you to connect up to two Bluetooth-enabled cell phones to your base unit, enabling you to make and receive cell phone calls through your cordless handsets. This is particularly useful in areas with poor cell signal.

Digital Answering Machine
The integrated digital answering machine can record up to 18 minutes of messages. A quick-read message counter on the base unit displays the number of new messages. Messages can be retrieved from the base unit or any handset.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the phone and base unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: An audible Low Battery Alert will notify you when the handset battery needs charging. Always use the supplied rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Do not use alkaline or other non-rechargeable batteries.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your phone system, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Dial Tone: Ensure the telephone line cord is securely connected to both the base unit and the wall jack. Check if the AC adaptor is properly plugged in.
- Handset Not Charging: Verify the handset is correctly seated in the charger/base unit and the 'CHARGE' indicator is lit. Clean the charging contacts on both the handset and charger with a dry cloth.
- Poor Sound Quality/Static: Move the handset closer to the base unit. Check for other electronic devices that might be causing interference.
- Cannot Make/Receive Cell Calls (Link2Cell): Ensure your cell phone is properly paired with the base unit and Bluetooth is enabled on your cell phone. Check the range between your cell phone and the base unit.
- Handset Display Blank: The battery may be completely drained. Place the handset on the charger for several minutes. If the issue persists, the batteries may need replacement.
