4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your AsiaHorse COSMIQ-Black fans:

  1. Prepare your PC Case: Ensure your PC is powered off and unplugged. Open the side panel of your computer case.
  2. Mount the Fans:
    • Identify desired mounting locations for the 120mm fans (e.g., front, top, rear, bottom of the case, or on a radiator).
    • Secure each fan using the provided fan screws. Ensure the airflow direction is correct for your cooling setup (typically intake at the front/bottom, exhaust at the rear/top).

Your AsiaHorse COSMIQ-Black fans can be controlled via the included remote or through your motherboard's ARGB software, depending on your setup.

5.1. Using the Remote Control

The remote control allows you to adjust fan speed, RGB lighting modes, colors, and brightness. Refer to the remote's specific button functions for detailed control.

5.2. Motherboard ARGB Software Control

If you connected the ARGB cable to your motherboard, you can use your motherboard's dedicated RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0) to control the fan lighting effects. Ensure the remote control is set to motherboard sync mode (often by pressing a specific button, like 'W' three times, as mentioned in some user experiences).
