Setup and Installation
Installing the Detetap Side Brushes is a simple process that requires no special tools. Follow these steps to replace your old brushes:
- Turn your Eufy RoboVac upside down to access the brush compartments.
- Locate the existing side brushes. Each brush is typically held in place by a single screw or can be snapped off.
- Carefully remove the old side brushes. If they are screwed in, use a small screwdriver to loosen and remove the screw.
- Align the new Detetap Side Brush with the corresponding slot on the RoboVac. Ensure the shape of the brush base matches the slot.
- Gently push the new brush into place until it snaps securely, or re-insert and tighten the screw if applicable.
- Repeat the process for the other side brush.

- Reshaping Bent Brushes: If the side brushes become bent or curled, particularly due to shipping or prolonged use, they can often be restored to their original shape.
How to Straighten Bent Side Brushes:
- Carefully remove the bent side brush from your RoboVac.
- Prepare a glass or bowl of warm water (approximately 60-80°C or 140-176°F).
- Submerge the bristles of the bent brush into the warm water for several minutes (30-60 seconds is usually sufficient).
- Remove the brush from the water and gently reshape the bristles with your fingers.
- Allow the brush to cool and air dry completely before re-installing it on your RoboVac. This process will not affect the quality or performance of the brush.
