2. Product Overview
The Cambell M7 is a compact and portable device designed for on-the-go internet access. It features an LCD display for status information and intuitive controls.

2.2 LED Indicators
The device features 4 LED lights to indicate status:
- Signal Strength: Indicates the strength of the 4G/3G network signal.
- WiFi Status: Shows if WiFi is active.
- Battery Status: Indicates battery level and charging status.
- SMS/New Message: Notifies of new messages.
Refer to the LCD screen for detailed information such as network type, data usage, and connected users.
3. Setup
3.1 Installing the SIM Card and Battery
- Remove the back cover of the device.
- Insert a standard SIM card into the SIM card slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner oriented correctly. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Insert the provided 3.7V, 2000mAh Lion battery into its compartment, aligning the contacts.
- Replace the back cover.
Important: The router uses a STANDARD SIM card. Ensure your SIM card is activated with a hotspot service from your carrier. This device does not include a SIM card or service.
3.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power Key for approximately 3 seconds until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Key for approximately 3 seconds until the device shuts down.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Connecting Devices to WiFi
- Ensure the Cambell M7 is powered on and has an active network connection (indicated by the signal strength icon on the LCD).
- On your WiFi-enabled device (laptop, smartphone, tablet, gaming console), search for available WiFi networks.
- Select the network name (SSID) displayed on the M7's LCD screen.
- Enter the WiFi password (Key) also displayed on the M7's LCD screen.
- Your device should now be connected to the internet. The M7 supports up to 10 simultaneous WiFi users.
4.2 Accessing the Web Management Interface
The web management interface allows you to configure advanced settings, view status, and manage your hotspot.
- Connect your device to the M7's WiFi network.
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
- Enter the default IP address (usually
192.168.0.1or192.168.1.1, check the device's manual or sticker for the exact address) into the address bar and press Enter. - Enter the default username and password (typically
adminfor both, or as specified on the device/manual). - You can now manage settings such as APN, WiFi name, password, and security protocols. The interface supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
4.3 WPS Function
The M7 supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) for easy connection to compatible devices without entering the password manually.
- Press the WPS Key on the M7 router.
- Within two minutes, activate WPS on your client device.
- The devices will automatically connect.
4.4 SMS and Phonebook
The device supports SMS messaging and phonebook functions, accessible via the web management interface. This allows you to send and receive text messages directly through the hotspot.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Care and Charging
- Charge the battery using the provided USB cable and a 5V DC, 1A charger.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- If the device will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
- The working time is approximately 5-8 hours on a full charge.
5.2 Cleaning the Device
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.

6.1 Resetting the Device
If the device is unresponsive or experiencing persistent issues, you may perform a factory reset. Locate the Reset key (usually a small pinhole) and use a paperclip to press and hold it for about 5-10 seconds until the device restarts. This will restore all settings to their factory defaults, including WiFi name and password.
