4. Setup and Assembly

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
6.1 Emptying the Dust Bin
The 2.0-liter dust bin should be emptied regularly, especially when the 'max' indicator is reached.
- Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Press the dust bin release button and carefully remove the dust bin from the main unit.
- Hold the dust bin over a waste bin and press the release button to open the bottom flap, allowing dirt to fall out.
- Close the flap securely and reinsert the dust bin into the vacuum cleaner until it clicks.

6.2 Cleaning the Filters
The Allergy Lock filter system captures up to 99.9% of fine dust. Regular cleaning is crucial.
- Washable Filter: The main filter (often black, with a tap symbol) can be rinsed under running water. Allow it to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating devices.
- Non-Washable Filter: A smaller, light blue filter may be present. This filter is not washable and should be replaced when visibly dirty or every 6-12 months, depending on usage.
