Product Overview

The Suite Bebe Livia Convertible Crib in Black & Natural is a versatile and stylish crib designed to adapt as your child grows. It features a contemporary design with slightly angled legs and solid peek-a-boo end panels. This crib can be converted into a toddler bed or a full-size bed with the purchase of additional conversion rails (sold separately). It offers three adjustable mattress height positions to accommodate your child's developmental stages.

Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions before assembly and use of the crib. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• WARNING: Infants can suffocate in gaps between extra padding and crib sides. Use only the mattress provided by the manufacturer or a mattress that is at least 27 1/4 inches (69 cm) by 51 5/8 inches (131 cm) with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches (15 cm).
• WARNING: To prevent falls, when a child is able to pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position.
• WARNING: Do not use this crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Suite Bebe for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. Do not substitute parts.
• WARNING: Do not place the crib near a window where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• WARNING: Do not suspend strings or toys over the crib.
• WARNING: Do not use waterbeds or other soft bedding in the crib.
• Periodically check all fasteners for tightness. Do not overtighten.
• Keep children away during assembly.
• This product is intended for children who cannot climb out of it and are less than 35 inches (89 cm) tall.

Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts listed below are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.

Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires two adults. Please follow the steps carefully. An Allen wrench is included in the hardware pack. A Phillips head screwdriver (not included) may also be required for some steps.

1. Step 1: Attach Legs to End Panels

   Carefully attach the four wooden legs to the bottom of the crib end panels using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure they are securely fastened.

2. Step 2: Connect Side Rails to End Panels

   Align the side rails with the pre-drilled holes on the end panels. Insert the long bolts through the holes and secure them with barrel nuts. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the crib is fully assembled.

3. Step 3: Install Mattress Support Frame

   Place the mattress support frame inside the crib. The frame has multiple height settings. Choose the desired height and secure the frame to the side rails using the designated hooks or bolts. Ensure the frame is level and stable.

4. Step 4: Final Tightening

   Once all components are in place, go back and securely tighten all bolts and fasteners. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the wood. Ensure the crib is sturdy and does not wobble.

5. Step 5: Place Mattress

   Place a standard size crib mattress (sold separately) into the crib. Ensure there are no large gaps between the mattress and the crib sides (no more than 1 inch).

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Mattress Height

The Suite Bebe Livia Crib offers 3 adjustable mattress height positions. To change the mattress height:

1. Remove the mattress from the crib.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the mattress support frame to the side rails.
3. Carefully lower or raise the mattress support frame to the desired height.
4. Re-secure the mattress support frame with the bolts, ensuring they are tight.
5. Replace the mattress.

Converting the Crib

The Livia Crib can be converted into a toddler bed or a full-size bed. Conversion kits are sold separately.

Toddler Bed Conversion:

To convert to a toddler bed, remove one of the side rails and replace it with the toddler guard rail (sold separately). The mattress support should be set to the lowest position.

Full-Size Bed Conversion:

To convert to a full-size bed, remove both side rails and the mattress support frame. Attach the full-size bed rails (sold separately) to the headboard and footboard (which were the crib end panels). A standard full-size mattress and box spring (not included) will be required.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, as they may damage the finish.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure. Do not overtighten.
• Storage: If storing the crib, disassemble it carefully and store all parts in a dry, temperate environment to prevent warping or damage.
