Introduction

The JBL PartyBox 710 is a high-performance party speaker designed to transform any event into an immersive audio-visual experience. Featuring powerful JBL Original Pro Sound, dynamic customizable light shows, and robust portability, it's built for entertainment wherever you go. Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided AC power cord to the speaker's power input and then to a suitable power outlet. The speaker requires a direct power connection as it does not have a built-in battery.

2. Initial Power On

Press the power button located on the top panel to turn on the JBL PartyBox 710. The light show will activate upon startup.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. On the speaker's top panel, press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode. The light ring around the button will flash.
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL PartyBox 710" from the list of available devices.
  3. Once connected, the Bluetooth light on the speaker will remain solid.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Setup (Optional)

For an even bigger sound experience, you can wirelessly pair two JBL PartyBox 710 speakers for True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode.

  1. Ensure both PartyBox 710 speakers are powered on.
  2. On one speaker, long-press the TWS button (located near the USB port on the back panel) until you hear a tone.
  3. Repeat the same step on the second speaker.
  4. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the TWS indicator lights on both speakers will be solid.
  5. Connect your mobile device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth. Audio will now play in stereo across both speakers.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

  • Power Button: Press to turn on/off.
  • Volume Knobs: Rotate to adjust master volume.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause music.
  • Light Mode Button: Press to cycle through different light show patterns.
  • Bass Boost Button: Press to toggle between "Deep" and "Punchy" bass modes, or turn off.

2. JBL PartyBox App

Download the JBL PartyBox app from your device's app store for enhanced control and customization.

  • Music Control: Manage playback, volume, and track selection.
  • Light Show Customization: Choose from various light patterns, colors, and effects to match your mood or event.
  • Settings Adjustment: Fine-tune audio settings, update firmware, and manage TWS connections.

3. Microphone and Guitar Inputs

The PartyBox 710 features dedicated inputs for microphones and guitars, allowing for live performances or karaoke sessions.

  • Connect your microphone or guitar to the respective 1/4-inch input jacks on the back panel.
  • Adjust the gain knobs for each input to control the volume of the connected instrument/microphone.
  • Use the dedicated Bass, Treble, and Echo knobs on the top panel to fine-tune the sound of your microphone/guitar.

4. USB Playback and Charging

Plug a USB drive into the USB port on the back panel to play audio files directly from the drive. The USB port also provides 5V/2.1A output for charging external devices.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Always unplug the speaker from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the speaker.
  • For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters any openings.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.

2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage.

3. Water Resistance

The JBL PartyBox 710 is IPX4 splashproof, meaning it can withstand splashes of water from any direction. However, it is not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy rain for prolonged periods. Ensure all port covers are securely closed when exposed to moisture.
