  1. Mode 1: Using the Integrated 5L Water Tank (No Permanent Water Connection Required)

    This mode is ideal for portability and locations without a direct water supply. Simply open the water inlet cap on top of the dishwasher and pour in approximately 5 liters of fresh water. The dishwasher will signal when the tank is full.

  2. Mode 2: Connecting to a Water Faucet (Permanent Connection)

    For continuous use, you can connect the dishwasher directly to a water faucet using the provided inlet hose. Follow the instructions in the detailed manual for secure hose attachment to both the appliance and your water supply.

4.3 Drainage Connection

Connect the drain hose to a suitable drain point, such as a sink or a bucket. Ensure the hose is securely fastened and positioned to allow for proper water drainage without kinks or blockages.

4.4 Filling Dishwasher Salt

For optimal cleaning results and to prevent limescale buildup, especially in areas with hard water, fill the dishwasher salt dispenser. Use the included funnel to easily add dishwasher salt into the designated compartment. The appliance has an indicator to notify you when salt needs refilling.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading Dishes

Load dishes efficiently to ensure proper water circulation and cleaning. Scrape off large food particles before loading. Place larger items at the back and sides, and ensure dishes do not block the spray arms.

5.2 Adding Detergent

Add the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent (powder, liquid, or tablet) into the detergent dispenser. Refer to the detergent manufacturer's instructions for dosage.

5.3 Selecting a Program

The Bomann TSG 5701 offers 5 versatile programs to suit different cleaning needs:

  • ECO (P1): Standard program for normally soiled dishes, optimizing water and energy consumption.
  • Normal (P2): 60-minute program for lightly soiled dishes.
  • Quick (P3): 30-minute wash cycle for lightly soiled dishes without drying.
  • Glass: For delicate glassware and fine porcelain with light, fresh food residues.
  • Self-cleaning: For effective self-cleaning of the appliance interior.

5.4 Start Delay Function

You can set a delay for the start of the wash cycle from 1 to 24 hours, allowing you to run the dishwasher at a more convenient time or during off-peak electricity hours.

5.5 Starting a Cycle

After loading dishes, adding detergent, and selecting your desired program (and delay if applicable), press the 'Start' button to begin the wash cycle.
