4.3 Using the Rotisserie Function

  1. Prepare your food (e.g., a whole chicken) and secure it onto the rotisserie fork. Ensure it is balanced and tied if necessary to prevent uneven rotation.
  2. Insert the rotisserie fork into the designated slots inside the oven.
  3. Select the "Roast" or "Rotisserie" function.
  4. Adjust temperature and time as needed.
  5. Press Start. The rotisserie will begin to rotate.
  6. When cooking is complete, use the cage tong to carefully remove the hot rotisserie assembly from the oven.

5. Cooking Tips

  • Preheating: For best results, preheat the oven for 5-10 minutes before adding food, especially for baking and air frying.
  • Even Cooking: For air frying, shake the basket or flip food halfway through cooking for even browning.
  • Oil Usage: For air frying, a light spray of oil can enhance crispiness, but is often not required.
  • Crowding: Avoid overcrowding the oven or air fryer basket, as this can lead to uneven cooking and less crispy results. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on food quantity, density, and desired doneness. Monitor food and adjust as needed.
  • Internal Temperature: Always use a meat thermometer to ensure meats are cooked to a safe internal temperature.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.

  1. Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Crumb Tray: Remove the crumb tray and discard accumulated crumbs. Wash the tray in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  3. Accessories: Wash the baking pan, wire rack, air fryer basket, rotisserie fork, and cage tong in warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm water before cleaning. Rinse and dry completely.
  4. Interior: Wipe the interior walls and glass door with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
