Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your RORIOS watch, carefully unbox it. The package should include:
- 1 x RORIOS Watch
- 1 x Watch-link remover (if applicable for metal straps, though this model has a leather strap)
- 1 x User Manual and Warranty Information
- 1 x Gift Box
2. Initial Winding
Your RORIOS watch is an automatic mechanical timepiece, meaning it is powered by the motion of your wrist. However, for the first use or after a period of inactivity, manual winding is required to ensure accurate timekeeping.
- Ensure the crown is in its fully pushed-in position (Position 0).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up sufficient power reserve to start the movement.
- Once the watch starts ticking, it will continue to wind itself with your daily wrist movements.
3. Setting the Time
To set the time on your RORIOS watch:
- Gently pull out the crown to Position 1.
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- For models with a sub-dial for a second time zone, adjust the sub-dial time by rotating the crown counter-clockwise when in Position 1.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original fully pushed-in position (Position 0) to secure it and ensure water resistance.

Operating Your Watch
Automatic Movement
The RORIOS AA-QJ003 features an automatic mechanical movement. This means the watch is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. When worn regularly, the internal rotor winds the mainspring, eliminating the need for batteries. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding as described in the Setup section.

Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This rating means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water, such as when washing hands. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering, as prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water jets can compromise the seals.
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
- Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.

Luminous Function
The watch features a practical luminous function. After absorbing light, the hands and markers will glow in low-light conditions, allowing for visibility at night. The duration and intensity of the glow depend on the amount and duration of light exposure.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
- For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. Clean with a slightly damp cloth if necessary and allow to air dry completely.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original gift box is ideal for storage.
Leather Strap Care
The leather strap is designed for comfort and durability. To prolong its life:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water, sweat, and direct sunlight.
- Allow the strap to breathe by not wearing it too tightly.
- If the strap becomes wet, dry it gently with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch not running or stops frequently | Insufficient power reserve; not worn enough; initial winding not performed. | Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown 30-40 times clockwise. Wear the watch regularly for at least 8-10 hours a day. |
| Time is inaccurate | Insufficient power reserve; watch exposed to strong magnetic fields; needs adjustment. | Ensure the watch is fully wound. Keep the watch away from strong magnets (e.g., speakers, refrigerators). If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Condensation inside the watch | Temperature changes; water resistance compromised. | Avoid sudden temperature changes. Ensure the crown is always fully pushed in. If condensation is significant or persists, seek professional service immediately to prevent damage. |
