Setup Instructions

1. Attaching the Clamp to a Surface:

  1. Identify a stable surface for mounting, such as a rod, table edge, or handlebar. Ensure the surface is within the clamp's jaw opening range (13mm to 60mm).
  2. Loosen the T-shape bar knob on the super clamp by turning it counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
  3. Position the clamp jaws around the desired surface.
  4. Tighten the T-shape bar knob clockwise until the clamp is securely fastened. Ensure the non-slip rubber pads are making full contact with the surface to prevent movement and scratches.

2. Mounting Equipment to the Ball Head:

  1. The ball head features a 1/4"-20 screw for attaching most cameras, monitors, and accessories.
  2. For GoPro cameras, attach the included Action Camera adapter to the 1/4"-20 screw on the ball head, then mount your GoPro to the adapter.
  3. Ensure the equipment is securely tightened onto the 1/4"-20 screw.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Ball Head:

  1. To adjust the angle of your mounted equipment, loosen the 360° adjustable wingnut on the ball head by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Position your equipment to the desired angle. The ball head allows for full 360° rotation and tilt.
  3. Once the desired position is achieved, tighten the wingnut clockwise to lock the ball head securely in place.

Using the 3/8"-16 Thread:

The main clamp body also features a 3/8"-16 female thread, allowing for direct attachment of accessories that utilize this standard, or for mounting the clamp itself onto a 3/8" stud.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clamp with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the clamp in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and moving parts for tightness. Ensure the rubber pads are intact and provide adequate grip.

Troubleshooting
