NCVT1P Non-Contact Voltage Tester
The NCVT1P provides a safe and convenient way to detect AC voltage without direct contact. It automatically detects standard voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wires. A bright LED indicates working status, changing to red and producing audible tones when voltage is detected (50 to 1000 VAC).

RT105 Receptacle Tester
The RT105 is designed to quickly detect common wiring problems in standard receptacles. It indicates correct wiring and identifies faults such as open ground, open hot, open neutral, and hot/ground reversed. Note that it does not indicate other complex wiring issues.

Setup
Battery Installation
The MM300 Multimeter and NCVT1P Voltage Tester require batteries for operation. The kit includes 4 AAAA batteries for the NCVT1P and MM300. Refer to the specific device's battery compartment for correct polarity and installation.

Test Lead Connection (MM300)
For the MM300 Multimeter, insert the black test lead into the "COM" (common) jack and the red test lead into the appropriate input jack based on the measurement type (e.g., "VΩmA" for voltage, resistance, or small current, or "10A" for high current measurements).

Operating Instructions
Using the MM300 Digital Multimeter
To use the MM300, select the desired measurement function (e.g., AC voltage, DC voltage, resistance, DC current) using the central rotary dial. Connect the test leads to the circuit or component you wish to measure. The large LCD display will show the reading.

For continuity testing, select the continuity setting on the dial. The multimeter will provide both visual and audible feedback if continuity is detected.
Using the NCVT1P Non-Contact Voltage Tester
Press the power button to turn on the NCVT1P. A green LED indicates it is ready for use and not detecting voltage. To test for voltage, place the tip of the tester near the wire, outlet, or component. If voltage is present, the LED will turn red and an audible tone will sound.

Using the RT105 Receptacle Tester
Simply plug the RT105 into a standard electrical receptacle. The lights on the tester will illuminate in specific patterns to indicate the wiring configuration. Refer to the legend on the tester itself to interpret the results (e.g., correct wiring, open ground, open neutral, etc.).

Maintenance
Keep all components of the test kit clean and dry. Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth as needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the test leads securely in the designated slots on the back of the MM300 when not in use to prevent damage.
Replace batteries as needed to ensure accurate readings and proper device function. Refer to the battery installation section for details on battery type and replacement.
Troubleshooting
If any of the devices are not functioning as expected:
- No Power/Display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh. Replace if necessary.
- Inaccurate Readings (MM300): Ensure test leads are properly connected to the correct jacks for the selected measurement. Verify the rotary dial is set to the appropriate function and range.
- NCVT1P Not Detecting Voltage: Ensure the device is powered on. Test on a known live circuit to confirm functionality.
- RT105 Incorrect Indication: Ensure the tester is fully inserted into the receptacle. Verify the receptacle is a standard 3-prong outlet.
