Introduction
The UltraProlink iExpand USB Type C Hub (Model UL1054) is designed to expand the connectivity of your USB Type-C enabled devices. 1.2 Connecting the Hub
- Locate the USB Type C port on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
- Insert the integrated USB Type C connector of the iExpand Hub firmly into your device's USB Type C port.
- The hub is plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers for most operating systems (Mac OS, Windows, Linux, Android).
- For smartphones and tablets, ensure that the OTG (On-The-Go) functionality is enabled in your device settings for data transfer. Refer to your device's manual for instructions on enabling OTG.

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Connecting Peripherals
Once the iExpand Hub is connected to your host device, you can connect up to four USB-A peripherals to the available USB 3.0 ports on the hub.
- Insert your USB-A devices (e.g., flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, printers) into any of the four USB 3.0 ports on the hub.
- The integrated LED indicator on the hub will illuminate to confirm a successful connection and activity.
2.2 Data Transfer
The hub supports USB 3.0 standard, offering data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. This allows for quick transfer of large files between your connected devices.
- Ensure your connected devices and the host device support USB 3.0 for optimal transfer speeds.
- To transfer files, simply connect your storage device (e.g., flash drive, external hard drive) to the hub and access it through your host device's file explorer or manager.

2.3 Power Supply (Optional)
The iExpand Hub provides 4.5W maximum charging for connected devices. For scenarios involving multiple heavy-duty devices such as external hard drives or printers connected simultaneously, an external power port (DC5V/2A) is available.
- If you experience unstable connections or insufficient power for your peripherals, connect a DC 5V/2A power adapter (not included) to the external power port on the hub.
- This external power supply will provide additional power to the connected USB devices, ensuring stable operation.
3. Maintenance
- Keep the hub clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Store the hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the hub to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the hub yourself. This will void the warranty.
