Powering On and Off

Emptying the Dust Cup
Empty the dust cup regularly, ideally after each use or when the debris reaches the "Max Fill" line.
- Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
- Locate the dust cup release button and press it to detach the dust cup from the main unit.
- Position the dust cup over a trash bin.
- Press the bottom release latch to open the dust cup and empty its contents.
- Close the dust cup securely and reattach it to the vacuum.
Cleaning the Filters
The foam filter should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the dust cup.
- Carefully remove the foam filter from the dust cup assembly.
- Tap the filter over a trash can to remove loose dirt.
- Rinse the foam filter under cool running water until the water runs clear.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum without a dry filter.
Cleaning the Brush Roll
Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris.
- Unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Turn the vacuum over to access the brush roll.
- Using scissors, carefully cut away any hair or threads wrapped around the brush roll.
- Remove any debris from the brush roll and its housing.
- Ensure the brush roll spins freely before resuming use.
