3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking the Contents
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all packing materials are discarded safely. The package includes one Motorized Percy engine and one cargo car.
3.2 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Percy engine.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

3.3 Attaching the Cargo Car
The Percy engine and cargo car connect using plastic connectors. Align the connector on the back of the engine with the connector on the front of the cargo car and push them together until they click securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
To start the Percy engine, locate the red switch on top of the engine. Flip the switch to the "ON" position. Percy will begin to move. To turn off the engine, flip the switch back to the "OFF" position.
4.2 Track Compatibility
The Motorized Percy Engine is compatible with all Thomas & Friends track sets, with the exception of wooden tracks. Place Percy on a compatible track or a smooth, flat surface for optimal performance.
