1. Introduction

The XPPen Artist 24 Pro is a 23.8-inch IPS display drawing tablet featuring 2.5K QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). 3. Setup Guide

The XPPen Artist 24 Pro is not a standalone device and requires connection to a computer (Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, or Linux) for operation.

3.1 Connecting the Tablet

You can connect the Artist 24 Pro to your computer using either a USB-C cable or an HDMI cable with a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

• USB-C Connection: Connect one end of the included full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable to the Type-C port on the Artist 24 Pro and the other end to a compatible USB-C port on your computer. Connect the power adapter and power cord to the tablet and a wall outlet.
• HDMI Connection: Connect the HDMI cable from the Artist 24 Pro to your computer's HDMI port. Connect the USB-C to USB-A adapter cable from the Artist 24 Pro to a USB-A port on your computer. Connect the power adapter and power cord to the tablet and a wall outlet.

3.2 Driver Installation

Before using the tablet, you must install the latest drivers from the official XPPen website. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation. Ensure any previous tablet drivers are uninstalled to prevent conflicts.

3.3 Adjusting the Stand and Pen Slot

The Artist 24 Pro features an adjustable stand that allows you to set the working angle from 16 to 90 degrees for optimal comfort. A built-in pen slot is available on the side of the tablet to keep your stylus secure and easily accessible.

4. Operating the Device

4.1 Using the PA2 Battery-Free Stylus

The PA2 stylus offers 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and 60-degree tilt support, providing a natural drawing experience. The stylus is battery-free, eliminating the need for charging. The pen holder can store both styluses and replacement nibs.

4.2 Customizable Shortcut Keys and Dial Wheels

The Artist 24 Pro is equipped with 20 customizable shortcut keys and dual red dial wheels. These can be programmed through the tablet driver software to perform various functions, such as zooming, scrolling, or executing specific software commands, significantly improving your workflow.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Artist 24 Pro.

• Screen Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen. For stubborn smudges, dampen the cloth slightly with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Stylus Nib Replacement: If the stylus nib becomes worn, use the nib removal tool (often integrated into the pen holder) to carefully pull out the old nib and insert a new one. Replacement nibs are included in the package.
• Storage: When not in use, store the tablet in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Artist 24 Pro, refer to the following common solutions:

• No Display/Signal:
  • Ensure all cables (USB-C/HDMI, power) are securely connected to both the tablet and your computer.
  • Verify that the power adapter is plugged into a working outlet.
