5. Operation
5.1 Initial Activation
The alarm unit is activated automatically once it is twisted onto the mounting bracket. The LED indicator will flash, and the alarm will emit a short beep to confirm activation.
5.2 Testing the Alarm
It is recommended to test your smoke alarm weekly to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Press and hold the Test/Silence button on the alarm.
- The alarm will sound a loud, pulsating siren (85 dB) and the LED indicator will flash rapidly.
