• Mount on the ceiling or high on a wall (at least 10 cm from the ceiling).

6. Alternative Installation (Adhesive): For smooth, clean surfaces, you may use 2-inch-diameter adhesive tapes or magnetic adhesive pads (not included) for installation. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying.

5. Operation

5.1 Initial Activation

The alarm unit is activated automatically once it is twisted onto the mounting bracket. The LED indicator will flash, and the alarm will emit a short beep to confirm activation.

5.2 Testing the Alarm

It is recommended to test your smoke alarm weekly to ensure it is functioning correctly.

• Press and hold the Test/Silence button on the alarm.
• The alarm will sound a loud, pulsating siren (85 dB) and the LED indicator will flash rapidly.
• Release the button. The alarm should stop.
• If the alarm does not sound during the test, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

5.3 Alarm Indication

• Smoke Alarm: When smoke is detected, the alarm will emit a loud, continuous siren and the LED indicator will flash rapidly.
• Silence Mode: Press the Test/Silence button during an alarm to temporarily silence it for approximately 9 minutes. The LED will continue to flash every 5 seconds to indicate it is in silence mode. The alarm will reactivate if smoke levels remain high or increase.
