4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
  2. Insert the 4 AAA batteries (included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Alternatively, the device can be powered via a Type-C 5V, 1A power supply (cable not included). This option allows for temporary use without batteries.

4.2 Cuff Connection

  1. Locate the air jack on the side of the main unit.
  2. Firmly insert the air plug of the arm cuff into the air jack until it clicks into place.

4.3 Setting Date and Time

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Proper Measurement Technique

  1. Step 1: Insert the air plug into the air jack securely. Place your hand through the cuff loop. Pull the cuff until it reaches your upper left arm.
  2. Step 2: The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 0.8-1.2 inches (2-3 cm) above the inside elbow.
  3. Step 3: The arm cuff should be placed on your arm at the same level as your heart, with the arm resting comfortably on a table.
  4. Step 4: Press the "START" button. If you feel uncomfortable during the measurement, press the "START" button again to immediately stop the measure.

5.2 Applying the Cuff

Ensure the cuff is wrapped snugly around your upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow. The air tube should be positioned on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger. The monitor features a Cuff Worn Detection system, displaying an "OK" icon on the screen when the cuff is correctly wrapped, ensuring accurate readings.

5.3 Taking a Measurement

With the cuff correctly applied and your arm positioned at heart level, simply press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate and then slowly deflate, taking your measurement. Remain still and avoid talking during the measurement process.

The large 3.6-inch screen will display your Systolic (SYS) and Diastolic (DIA) blood pressure readings in mmHg, along with your Pulse (PUL) rate per minute. The monitor also features color-coded indicators on the side of the display to help you quickly understand your blood pressure levels:

  • Green: Normal Blood Pressure
  • Yellow: Normal-High Blood Pressure (140-159 SYS / <90 DIA)
  • Red: Hypertension (≥160 SYS)

5.5 Irregular Heartbeat Detection

The monitor is equipped with an Irregular Heartbeat Alert. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement, a specific icon will appear on the screen. If this icon appears frequently, consult your doctor.

The device includes Posture Detection to help ensure accurate readings. It will alert you if your posture is incorrect during measurement, prompting you to adjust for optimal results. Always sit upright with your back supported, feet flat on the floor, and arm resting on a table at heart level.

The Sinocare ARM-30E+ supports two user profiles (User 1 and User 2), each capable of storing up to 99 readings. This feature is ideal for families to track and compare historical data. To switch between users, press the SET button. To view stored readings, press the MEM button.

6. Maintenance

Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Keep the device clean and free from dust.

  • Physiological and Environmental Interference: Atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia can make it difficult for electronic blood pressure monitors to accurately capture signals; noisy measurement environments can interfere with electronic device signals.
