5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Proper Measurement Technique

Image: A visual guide demonstrating the four steps for accurate blood pressure measurement.
- Step 1: Insert the air plug into the air jack securely. Place your hand through the cuff loop. Pull the cuff until it reaches your upper left arm.
- Step 2: The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 0.8-1.2 inches (2-3 cm) above the inside elbow.
- Step 3: The arm cuff should be placed on your arm at the same level as your heart, with the arm resting comfortably on a table.
- Step 4: Press the "START" button. If you feel uncomfortable during the measurement, press the "START" button again to immediately stop the measure.
5.2 Applying the Cuff

Image: The adjustable arm cuff (8.6-16.5 inches) and the 'OK' indicator for correct cuff placement.
Ensure the cuff is wrapped snugly around your upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm above the elbow. The air tube should be positioned on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger. The monitor features a Cuff Worn Detection system, displaying an "OK" icon on the screen when the cuff is correctly wrapped, ensuring accurate readings.
5.3 Taking a Measurement
With the cuff correctly applied and your arm positioned at heart level, simply press the START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate and then slowly deflate, taking your measurement. Remain still and avoid talking during the measurement process.
5.4 Understanding Your Readings

Image: Color-coded indicators on the display classify blood pressure levels: Green (Normal), Yellow (Normal-High), and Red (Hypertension 2-3).
The large 3.6-inch screen will display your Systolic (SYS) and Diastolic (DIA) blood pressure readings in mmHg, along with your Pulse (PUL) rate per minute. The monitor also features color-coded indicators on the side of the display to help you quickly understand your blood pressure levels:
- Green: Normal Blood Pressure
- Yellow: Normal-High Blood Pressure (140-159 SYS / <90 DIA)
- Red: Hypertension (≥160 SYS)
5.5 Irregular Heartbeat Detection

Image: The irregular heartbeat icon appearing on the monitor's screen, indicating a detected irregular heartbeat.
The monitor is equipped with an Irregular Heartbeat Alert. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement, a specific icon will appear on the screen. If this icon appears frequently, consult your doctor.
5.6 Posture Detection

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Avoid strong impact or direct exposure to corrosive gas. If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Inaccurate Readings
The primary causes of inaccurate blood pressure readings can include:
- Incorrect Measurement Method: Engaging in vigorous exercise or experiencing emotional fluctuations within 30 minutes prior to measurement, or improper positioning and cuff application.
- Equipment Malfunction: Battery power depletion, or internal components damaged by moisture.
- Physiological and Environmental Interference: Atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia can make it difficult for electronic blood pressure monitors to accurately capture signals; noisy measurement environments can interfere with electronic device signals.
Ensure correct cuff placement, proper posture, and a calm environment for accurate results. If issues persist, refer to the full instruction manual or contact customer support.
