- DMX Connection (Optional): If using DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the DMX IN port on the light. For multiple units, daisy-chain them by connecting the DMX OUT of the first unit to the DMX IN of the next.
6. Operating Modes
The BSBL LED Moving Head DJ Light offers four primary operating modes:
6.1. Automatic Mode
In Automatic mode, the light cycles through pre-programmed patterns and color changes without external input. This mode is suitable for quick setup and continuous operation.
6.2. Voice Control (Sound Activated) Mode
The Voice Control mode allows the light to react to ambient sound or music. The internal microphone detects sound, and the light's patterns and movements synchronize with the beat. This mode is ideal for parties and events where music is present.
6.3. Master-Slave Link Mode
To synchronize multiple lights, connect them in a master-slave configuration using DMX cables. Set one unit as the 'Master' and the others as 'Slaves'. The slave units will replicate the master unit's movements and effects, creating a coordinated light show.
6.4. DMX512 Control Mode
DMX512 mode provides precise control over all functions of the light using an external DMX controller. This mode is preferred for professional stage performances and complex lighting designs. Refer to your DMX controller's manual and the light's DMX channel chart (typically found in a separate DMX guide or on the manufacturer's website) for detailed programming instructions.
