Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Cool Works Pedestal Fan:

1. Attach the Base: Place the sturdy base on a flat surface. Insert the lower section of the adjustable height pole into the base. Secure it using the provided screws and washers from underneath the base. Ensure it is firmly tightened.
2. Assemble the Pole: Insert the upper section of the adjustable height pole into the lower section. Adjust to your desired height and tighten the height adjustment knob/collar to secure it.
3. Mount the Fan Head: Carefully place the fan head assembly onto the top of the adjustable pole. Align the mounting holes and secure it with the provided screw or locking mechanism. Ensure the fan head is stable and does not wobble.
4. Check Grille and Blades: Verify that the front and rear safety grilles are securely fastened and that the aluminum blades are properly installed and free from obstruction.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your fan is ready for operation:

1. Power Connection: Plug the fan's power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
2. Power On/Off and Speed Control: Locate the control knob or buttons on the fan head.
   • Turn the knob or press the power button to turn the fan ON.
   • Select your desired speed setting (1, 2, or 3) by rotating the knob or pressing the speed button repeatedly.
   • To turn the fan OFF, rotate the knob to the '0' position or press the power button until the fan stops.
3. Oscillation Function: To activate the wide-angle oscillation, locate the oscillation knob/pin on top of the motor housing. Push it down to enable oscillation, and pull it up to stop the oscillation and fix the fan in one direction.
4. Adjusting Height: Loosen the height adjustment knob/collar on the pole, raise or lower the upper pole section to the desired height, and then firmly tighten the knob/collar to secure the fan.
5. Adjusting Tilt: The fan head can be tilted up or down to direct airflow. Loosen the tilt adjustment knob on the side of the fan head, adjust the angle, and then tighten the knob.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain your fan's performance and extend its lifespan.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the fan from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• Exterior Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish.
• Grille and Blades: Dust and lint can accumulate on the grilles and blades. To clean, you may need to remove the front grille. Refer to the assembly instructions in reverse to carefully detach the front grille. Wipe the blades with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure blades are completely dry before reattaching the grille.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging to protect it from dust.
