1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SONOFF S26R2 Smart Plug. This smart plug allows you to remotely control your home appliances and devices via the eWeLink app, voice commands, and scheduled timers. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper installation and operation.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure the connected appliance's power rating does not exceed the smart plug's maximum load (16A, 4000W).

5. Setup

5.1. Installation

1. Plug the SONOFF S26R2 Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet.
2. Plug your appliance into the smart plug.

5.2. App Pairing (eWeLink)

To control your smart plug, you need to pair it with the eWeLink app.

1. Download the eWeLink app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Register and log in to your eWeLink account.
3. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is set to 2.4 GHz. The smart plug does not support 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi. Your smartphone's network (2G/3G/4G/Wi-Fi) does not have this restriction.
4. Press and hold the button on the smart plug for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
5. In the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon to add a device.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

6. Operating the Smart Plug

6.1. Remote Control via App

Once paired, you can control your devices from anywhere using the eWeLink app.

7. Maintenance

• Ensure the device is kept in a dry environment and away from direct sunlight.
• Regularly check for any signs of damage to the plug or connected cables.

8. Troubleshooting

• Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. Move the smart plug closer to your router. Restart your router and the smart plug.
• App control not working: Check your internet connection. Ensure the eWeLink app is updated to the latest version.
• Voice control issues: Verify that your smart plug is correctly linked to your Alexa or Google Home account in the eWeLink app. Check your voice assistant's internet connection.
• Device unresponsive: Try unplugging the smart plug from the wall outlet for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, try resetting the device and re-pairing it with the app.
