2. Initial Setup

Setting Time and Date

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE (M) button repeatedly until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in time setting mode.
2. Press the RESET/ADJUST (R) button to cycle through the settings: seconds, hours, minutes, month, date, day of the week.
3. While a setting is flashing, use the START/STOP (S) button to increase the value. Hold the button to rapidly advance.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE (M) button to exit the setting mode and return to the normal time display.

12/24 Hour Format

In the normal time display, press the START/STOP (S) button to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.

3. Operating Instructions

Using the Backlight

To illuminate the display in dark conditions, press the LIGHT (L) button. The backlight will activate for a few seconds, making the time clearly visible.

Alarm Function

To set and use the alarm:

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE (M) button once to enter the Alarm mode. The alarm time will be displayed.
2. Press the RESET/ADJUST (R) button to select the hour or minute setting. The selected digit will flash.
3. Use the START/STOP (S) button to adjust the flashing hour or minute value.
4. Press the MODE (M) button to confirm the alarm time and exit the setting mode.
5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, press the START/STOP (S) button while in Alarm mode (without flashing digits). An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
6. To activate/deactivate the hourly chime, press the RESET/ADJUST (R) button while in Alarm mode (without flashing digits). A chime icon will appear/disappear.

Stopwatch Function

To use the stopwatch:

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE (M) button twice to enter Stopwatch mode. The display will show "00:00:00".
2. Press the START/STOP (S) button to start the stopwatch.
3. Press the START/STOP (S) button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. Press the START/STOP (S) button again to resume timing.
5. While the stopwatch is paused, press the RESET/ADJUST (R) button to reset it to "00:00:00".
6. Press the MODE (M) button to exit Stopwatch mode and return to the normal time display.

4. Care and Maintenance

Water Resistance

The YUINK Digital Watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM), making it suitable for swimming in shallow water and cold showers. However, it is not designed for long-term underwater activities such as diving. Important: Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance. Avoid exposure to hot water and steam.

Battery Replacement

The watch requires 1 Lithium Metal battery. When the display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
