4.1 Automatic Sensor Operation

The trash can lid will automatically open when an object (e.g., your hand) approaches the sensor area within approximately 6 inches.
The lid will remain open for approximately 7 seconds.
After 7 seconds, or if the object moves away, the lid will close automatically and quietly.

4.2 Manual Operation

For situations requiring the lid to stay open longer, use the manual control buttons:

OPEN Button: Press the "OPEN" button on the lid to keep the lid open indefinitely.
CLOSE Button: Press the "CLOSE" button to close the lid.
