4.2 Battery Installation
The caliper comes with one CR2032 battery pre-installed and a spare. If the display does not turn on or is dim, replace the battery.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the LCD display unit.
- Use the included metal pin to gently push and pull the battery tray out.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new 3V CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Slide the battery tray back into the compartment until it clicks into place.

4.3 Removing Protective Film

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the caliper on.
- The caliper will automatically turn on when the slider is moved.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the caliper off.
- The caliper features an auto power-off function after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
