Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Open the safe using the emergency key.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
3. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

2. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a floor or wall.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting.
2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
3. Drill holes into the wall or floor using an appropriate drill bit.
4. Insert the expansion bolts into the drilled holes.
5. Align the safe with the bolts and secure it tightly.

Operating Instructions

1. Opening the Safe

Using the Digital Keypad:

1. Enter your 3-8 digit personal code.
2. Press the '#' key to confirm.
3. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

Using the Emergency Key:

1. Locate the keyhole cover on the keypad.
2. Gently insert a thin pin or similar object into the small hole above the keyhole cover to release it.
3. Insert the emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise.
4. Simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

2. Setting/Resetting Your Personal Code

1. Open the safe door.
2. Locate and press the red reset button on the inside of the door (near the battery compartment).
3. While the yellow indicator light is on, enter your new 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
4. Press the '#' or '*' key to confirm. A beep sound and green light indicate successful programming.

3. Alarm Function

If an incorrect code is entered three consecutive times, the safe will activate an alarm for 60 seconds, disabling the keypad temporarily to prevent brute-force attempts.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the battery low indicator light illuminates, replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

2. General Care

• Clean the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Regularly check the mounting bolts for tightness.
