3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert the two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3.2 Pairing the Remote

• Point the remote control towards your LG Smart TV.
• Press the Wheel (OK) button. The remote should automatically register with the TV.

If the remote does not register, try the following:

1. Press and hold the Home button and the Back button simultaneously for at least 5 seconds until the LED on the remote blinks. This will unpair the remote.
2. Point the remote towards the TV and press the Wheel (OK) button again to re-register.

4.2 Using the Pointer Function

Once the Magic Remote is paired, an on-screen pointer will appear when you move the remote. You can use this pointer to select items, navigate menus, and interact with the TV interface similar to a computer mouse.
