Product Overview

Setup

1. Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires 2 x AA batteries (not included). Use the provided small screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, then close the compartment and secure it with the screw.

2. Robot Charging

The robot is powered by a built-in 500 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the included mini USB cable to the robot's charging port (located on its back, next to the ON/OFF switch) and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, power adapter). A full charge takes approximately 120 minutes and provides about 100 minutes of play time.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • Robot: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the robot's back to the 'ON' position. The LED eyes will light up.
  • Remote Control: Press the power button on the remote control to turn it on.

2. Basic Movement

Use the joysticks on the 2.4GHz remote control to maneuver the robot. The control distance is up to 100 feet without obstruction.

  • Forward/Backward: Push the left joystick up or down.
  • Turn Left/Right: Push the right joystick left or right.

3. Multifunction Features

The robot offers several interactive features controlled by the remote:

  • LED Eyes: Use the dedicated button on the remote to turn the LED eyes on, off, or make them blink.
  • Voice Function: The robot will speak in its unique language upon activation.
  • Music: Press the 'Music Switch' button on the remote to play 3 different songs.
  • Demo Mode: Activate 'Demo Mode' for the robot to automatically perform a dancing sequence.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the robot and remote control with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

  • Robot not responding:
    • Ensure the robot's ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Check if the remote control batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
    • Verify the robot's internal battery is charged.
    • Make sure the remote control is within the 100-foot operating range.
  • Robot not moving smoothly:
    • The robot performs best on smooth, flat surfaces. Movement may be hindered on carpets or uneven terrain.
