2. Safety Information

5. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Tube Connection: Connect the silicone tubes to the inlet and outlet ports of the pump head. Ensure a secure fit to prevent leaks. The standard tube size is 3mm ID × 5mm OD.
  3. Placement: Place the pump on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the 24V power adapter to the power socket at the bottom of the pump (refer to Figure 3). Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The KCP-X pump is designed for simple operation with an adjustable flow rate knob.

  1. Power On: Once connected to power, the pump is ready for operation.
  2. Adjusting Flow Rate: Rotate the knob on the top of the pump (refer to Figure 4) to adjust the flow rate. Turning the knob clockwise increases the flow rate, while turning it counter-clockwise decreases it. The flow rate can be adjusted within the range of 19-65ml/min.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your KCP-X pump.

  1. Pump Head Disassembly: The pump head features a snap-fit design for easy removal. Gently unclip the pump head from the main unit.
  2. Hose Replacement: The silicone hose inside the pump head is a consumable part and should be replaced periodically, especially if flow rate consistency decreases or the hose shows signs of wear. The snap-fit design allows for easy replacement of the hose.
  3. Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the pump with a soft, damp cloth. For the pump head and tubing, flush with appropriate cleaning solutions depending on the liquid being pumped. Ensure all components are dry before reassembly.
