The Astibym Digital Sports Stopwatch Timer features a large screen display for clear visibility and a durable design suitable for various environments. It includes multiple buttons for mode selection, start/stop, reset, and memory recall.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The stopwatch comes with one AG13, 140mAh battery pre-installed. If the display is dim or unresponsive, the battery may need replacement. To replace the battery, carefully open the battery compartment on the back of the device, insert a new AG13 battery with the correct polarity, and secure the cover.
4.2 Initial Power-On
The device typically powers on automatically when the battery is installed. If the screen remains blank, press any button to activate it.
4.3 Attaching the Lanyard
The stopwatch includes a lanyard for portability. Attach the lanyard securely to the designated loop on the stopwatch. This allows you to wear it around your neck or wrist, or attach it to a bag.

5.1 General Operation
- Mode Selection: Press the MODE button to cycle through different functions: Stopwatch, Clock, Alarm, and Countdown.
- Timing and Measurement: Once a mode is selected, use the START/STOP and RESET/DOWN buttons to operate the chosen function.
5.2 Stopwatch Mode
This mode measures time with 1/100 second accuracy, up to 9 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds.
- Start/Stop: Press START/STOP to begin timing. Press again to pause.
- Reset: While paused, press RESET/DOWN to clear the time to zero.
- Split/Lap Timing: During active timing, press LAP/SPLIT to record a split time without stopping the main timer. The display will momentarily show the split time. Press LAP/SPLIT again to return to the running time. The stopwatch can store up to 20 track memories for split/lap times.
- Recalling Split/Lap Times: After stopping the timer, press RECALL/UP to view stored split/lap times. Use RECALL/UP and RESET/DOWN to navigate through the memory from front to back or back to front.
5.3 Clock Mode
In Clock Mode, the stopwatch displays the current time, day, week, and month.
- Setting Time/Date: In Clock Mode, press and hold SET to enter setting mode. Use RECALL/UP and RESET/DOWN to adjust values. Press MODE to move to the next setting (hours, minutes, seconds, month, day, week). Press SET again to exit setting mode.
- 12/24 Hour System: While in Clock Mode, press START/STOP to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats.
5.4 Alarm Mode
The alarm function allows you to set a specific time for an audible alert.
- Setting Alarm: In Alarm Mode, press and hold SET to enter setting mode. Use RECALL/UP and RESET/DOWN to adjust the alarm time. Press MODE to confirm and move to the next setting. Press SET again to exit.
- Activating/Deactivating Alarm: In Alarm Mode, press START/STOP to toggle the alarm on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
5.5 Countdown Timer Mode
Use the countdown timer for specific duration tracking.
- Setting Countdown: In Countdown Mode, press and hold SET to enter setting mode. Use RECALL/UP and RESET/DOWN to set the desired countdown duration. Press MODE to move between hours, minutes, and seconds. Press SET again to exit.
- Start/Stop Countdown: Press START/STOP to begin the countdown. Press again to pause. When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound.
- Reset Countdown: While paused, press RESET/DOWN to reset the countdown to its initial set value.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the stopwatch with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the display or casing.
6.2 Storage
Store the stopwatch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, consider removing the battery to prevent leakage.
6.3 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes faint or the stopwatch malfunctions, it is likely time to replace the AG13 battery. Refer to Section 4.1 for battery replacement instructions.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Blank or Faint Display
- Cause: Low or depleted battery.
- Solution: Replace the AG13 battery.
7.2 Buttons Unresponsive
- Cause: Temporary software glitch or low battery.
- Solution: Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a hard reset. If the issue persists, replace the battery.
7.3 Incorrect Time/Date
- Cause: Time/date not set correctly or reset due to battery change.
