Upon opening your bblüv Umidö package, please ensure all the following items are present:

Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Choose a Location: Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture. Ensure it is not placed directly on carpet or near heat sources.
3. Fill the Water Tank:
   • Remove the top lid of the humidifier.
   • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
   • Replace the top lid securely.

4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

The Umidö can be operated using the touch controls on the unit or the included remote control.

Power On/Off

• Touch the power icon on the unit's display or press the power button on the remote control to turn the humidifier on or off.

Adjusting Mist Output

• The Umidö offers 3 mist output levels. Touch the mist icon on the unit or press the mist button on the remote to cycle through the levels (Low, Medium, High).

Intelligent Humidistat & Auto Mode

• The built-in humidity sensor detects the current room humidity.
• To activate Auto Mode, touch the auto icon on the unit or press the auto button on the remote. The humidifier will automatically adjust mist output to maintain a comfortable humidity level.

Timer Function

• Set the operating time using the timer function. Touch the timer icon on the unit or press the timer button on the remote to select desired operating hours (up to 8 hours).

Aromatherapy Function

• Locate the essential oil container on the side of the unit.
• Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the container. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.
• The aroma will diffuse with the mist.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential to ensure optimal performance and hygiene of your humidifier. The Umidö is designed for easy maintenance as it requires no filters.

1. Daily Maintenance:
   • Before refilling, empty any remaining water from the tank.
   • Wipe the inside of the tank with a clean cloth.
2. Weekly Cleaning:
   • Unplug the unit and empty all water from the tank and base.
   • Clean the water tank and base with a soft brush and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
   • To remove mineral buildup, fill the tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let it soak for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
   • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
3. Storage: When not in use for extended periods, clean the unit thoroughly, ensure it is completely dry, and store it in a cool, dry place.
