Operating Instructions
General Carpet Cleaning
The SmartWash Pet features automatic cleaning technology, simplifying the process.
- Power On: Turn on the machine.
- Wash Cycle: Push the machine forward slowly over the carpet. The machine will automatically dispense cleaning solution and scrub the carpet.
- Dry Cycle: Pull the machine backward slowly over the same area. The machine will automatically extract dirty water and apply HeatForce technology for faster drying.
- Repeat: Continue pushing forward and pulling back in overlapping passes until the area is clean. For heavily soiled areas, multiple passes may be necessary.

Using the Spot Chaser Wand
For tough stains and pet messes, utilize the detachable Spot Chaser Wand.
- Detach Wand: Locate the Spot Chaser Wand on the machine and detach it.
- Pretreat Stain: Point the wand directly at the stain. Press the trigger to spray pretreat solution onto the affected area. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes as directed by the solution's instructions.
- Scrub and Extract: Use the brush on the wand to gently scrub the stain. Then, use the suction power of the wand to extract the dirty solution.

HeatForce Technology for Faster Drying
The integrated HeatForce technology helps to dry your carpets quickly after cleaning, minimizing downtime.
- During the backward pass (dry cycle), the machine activates HeatForce to apply concentrated hot air to the cleaned area.
- For optimal drying, ensure you make several slow, overlapping backward passes over the cleaned area to maximize water extraction and heat application.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your carpet cleaner.
