Setup and Installation
The Sylvania Slim Microdisk Downlight is designed for easy installation in new construction or remodel applications without the need for a separate recessed housing.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Prepare Opening: Cut a circular hole in the ceiling according to the recommended size for an 8-inch fixture. Refer to the product packaging or specifications for the exact cut-out diameter.

- Install Downlight: Gently push the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the downlight upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling opening. The clips will spring back down to secure the fixture in place.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.
