3. Compatibility Information

CRITICAL: Before installation, it is imperative to match the LED strips in this kit with the original strips currently installed in your television. Do not rely solely on the TV model number for compatibility verification, as many TV models use different sets of LED strips.

This kit is compatible with the following LG 60-inch TV models and their variants:

• LG 60UJ6300-UA

• LG 60UJ634V
• LG 60UJ63_UHD_A, B, C, D series

Verify the part numbers on your existing strips. Common part numbers for compatible strips include EAV63673006 and EAV64053901.

4. Setup and Installation

The following steps outline a general procedure for replacing LED backlight strips. Specific disassembly and reassembly steps for your LG TV model may vary. Refer to a service manual or reputable online resources for your exact TV model if needed.

1. Preparation: Disconnect the TV from all power sources and external devices. Place the TV screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Disassembly: Carefully remove the TV back cover, stand, and any internal components (e.g., main board, power supply board, speakers) that obstruct access to the display panel. Document screw locations and cable connections.
3. Panel Removal: With extreme caution, remove the LCD panel and diffuser layers. These components are fragile. Store them safely in a dust-free environment.
4. Old Strip Removal: Locate the existing LED backlight strips. Disconnect their power connectors. Gently peel off the old strips, noting their orientation and placement.

   • Carefully remove the protective backing from the adhesive on the new LED strips.
   • Align each new strip precisely with the original mounting points. Press firmly along the length of the strip to ensure good adhesion.

6. Testing: Before reassembling the entire TV, temporarily connect the power cord and power on the TV to verify that all new LED strips illuminate correctly and evenly. Disconnect power after testing.
7. Reassembly: Carefully re-install the diffuser layers, LCD panel, and all other components in reverse order of disassembly. Ensure all cables are properly routed and secured, and all screws are tightened appropriately.

Once installed, the LED backlight strips operate automatically as part of your television's display system. There are no specific user operating instructions for the strips themselves beyond the normal operation of your television.

6. Maintenance

The LED backlight strips are designed to be maintenance-free under normal operating conditions. To ensure their longevity:

• Avoid exposing the television to extreme temperatures or humidity.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the television to prevent overheating.
• Do not attempt to clean the LED strips directly once installed, as this requires disassembling the TV.

• No Backlight / Dim Screen:
