Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the speaker and accessories for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

2. Power Connection

The Sylvania SP782 operates on corded electric power. Connect the provided power cable to the DC 5V IN port on the rear panel of the speaker and then to a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the power source matches the speaker's voltage requirements.

3. Initial Power On

Once connected to power, locate the power switch (if present, usually integrated with volume knob or separate) and turn the unit on. The LED lights on the front panel should illuminate, indicating the speaker is active.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the speaker. It should automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED or an audible prompt.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "SYLVANIA SP782" or similar.
  4. Select the speaker to pair. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.
  5. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the speaker.

2. USB/TF Card Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (microSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the respective port on the rear panel. The speaker will automatically detect the media and begin playback. Use the control buttons (e.g., Play/Pause, Next/Previous) on the speaker to manage playback.

3. FM Radio Operation

Switch the speaker to FM radio mode (often by pressing a "Mode" button or cycling through inputs). The speaker will automatically scan and save available FM stations. Use the Next/Previous buttons to navigate between saved stations.

4. AUX Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX input port on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable. Switch the speaker to AUX mode. Audio from the connected device will now play through the speaker.

5. Microphone Usage

Plug a wired microphone into the "MIC IN" port on the rear panel. Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated control (if available) or the main volume knob. The microphone input is ideal for karaoke or public speaking.

6. LED Light Control

The speaker features integrated LED lights. There is a "LIGHT" button on the rear panel. Press this button to toggle the LED lights on/off or to cycle through different lighting modes, if available.
