It includes a continuous-run motor and pump, a thermal relief valve for cooling, a rugged metal spray gun, and an anodized pump coating for corrosion resistance. Key features include a 35-ft power cord with GFCI, a 25-ft kink-resistant hose, 10-inch never-flat wheels, a 5-liter on-board soap tank, and integrated accessory storage.

Setup

  1. Unpack and Assemble: Remove all components from the packaging. Attach the handle to the main unit if it is not already assembled. The unit features a rugged wheelbarrow steel-frame design with 10-inch never-flat wheels for easy transportation. The handle can be reversed for vertical storage, saving space.
  2. Connect High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the 25-foot kink-resistant high-pressure hose to the pressure washer's outlet and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are hand-tight and secure.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has a minimum diameter of 5/8 inch. Turn on the water supply completely.
  4. Purge Air from System: Before connecting power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system, purging any trapped air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges from the nozzle.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the 35-foot power cord with its in-line GFCI and water-resistant power plug into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Ensure the GFCI is reset if necessary.

Operating Instructions

1. Nozzle Selection

The Greenworks Pro pressure washer comes with 5 quick-connect nozzles for various cleaning tasks. Select the appropriate nozzle based on the surface and cleaning intensity required. To change nozzles, pull back the collar on the spray gun and insert the desired nozzle until it clicks into place.

  • Soap Nozzle: For applying detergent. Provides a wide, low-pressure spray.
  • 40° White Nozzle: Wide spray for gentle cleaning of delicate surfaces like windows, cars, or boats.
  • 25° Green Nozzle: Medium spray for general cleaning of decks, patios, and driveways.
  • 15° Yellow Nozzle: Narrow, powerful spray for tough stains on concrete, brick, or siding.
  • Turbo Nozzle: Provides a pulsating, high-impact stream for maximum cleaning power on stubborn dirt and grime.

2. Starting the Pressure Washer

  1. Ensure the water supply is fully open and air has been purged from the system.
  2. Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The brushless motor will start and run continuously, similar to a gas-powered unit.
  3. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to begin spraying. Release the trigger to stop the flow of water.

3. Applying Detergent

To use detergent, fill the 5-liter on-board soap tank with pressure washer safe detergent. Attach the black soap nozzle to the spray gun. The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent when the soap nozzle is in use. After applying detergent, switch to a high-pressure nozzle (e.g., 25° or 15°) to rinse the surface thoroughly.

4. General Operation Tips

  • Always start spraying away from the surface and move closer to adjust the cleaning intensity.
  • Maintain a consistent distance from the surface to avoid uneven cleaning or damage.
  • For vertical surfaces, spray from bottom to top to allow the detergent to work effectively, then rinse from top to bottom.
  • The unit operates at a low noise level of approximately 80 dB.

Maintenance

  • After Each Use: Disconnect power and water. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure. Drain all water from the pump, hose, and spray gun to prevent freezing damage.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: Clean clogged nozzles using the included nozzle cleaning tool or a thin wire.
  • Water Inlet Filter: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free area. The unit can be stored vertically by reversing the handle to save space.
