Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your EMIAH C710 Office Desk Chair. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.

  1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the 5-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.

  2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled 5-star base.

  3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws and Allen wrench.

  4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the mounting brackets on the rear of the seat cushion. Secure with the provided screws.

  5. Attach Armrests: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat and backrest using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.

  6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

Operating Instructions

Your EMIAH C710 chair offers several adjustable features for personalized comfort.

1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height:

  • To raise the seat: While seated, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. Lift your weight slightly off the seat, and the seat will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • To lower the seat: While seated, pull the lever upwards. Apply your weight to the seat, and it will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

2. Tilt Function and Tension Control

The chair features a rocking function and adjustable tilt tension.

  • To enable rocking: Pull the height adjustment lever outwards. The chair backrest will now allow for a rocking motion between 108° and 130°.
  • To lock upright: Push the height adjustment lever inwards.
  • Adjust tilt tension: Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat, towards the front. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

3. Swivel Function

The chair offers a 360° swivel function for easy movement and access to your workspace.

Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your EMIAH C710 chair.

  • Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tougher stains on the PU leather, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary.
  • Caster Care: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the PU leather to fade or crack.

Troubleshooting
