2. Caster Assembly
Attach the four caster feet to the base of the stainless steel tank. Ensure they snap securely into place for stable and mobile operation.
3. Filter Installation
The vacuum supports different filter configurations for wet and dry applications:
- Dry Pickup: For dry debris, install the cartridge filter over the filter cage and secure it with the filter retainer. For fine dust, you may also use a filter bag inside the tank.
- Wet Pickup: For liquid spills, remove the cartridge filter and install the foam sleeve over the filter cage. Ensure the foam sleeve is properly seated to protect the motor.
4. Hose and Accessory Attachment
Connect the 7-foot Secure Fit Hose to the vacuum port on the front of the power head. Attach desired accessories (extension wands, nozzles, crevice tool) to the end of the hose for specific cleaning tasks. The vacuum features onboard accessory storage for convenience.

Operating Instructions
Your Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum is designed for powerful and versatile cleaning. Follow these steps for optimal performance.
1. Powering On/Off

2. Wet and Dry Pickup
Ensure the correct filter is installed for your cleaning task (cartridge filter for dry, foam sleeve for wet). Use the appropriate nozzle for the surface and type of debris. The 10-inch wet/dry nozzle is versatile for both applications.

3. Blower Function
To use the blower function, detach the hose from the vacuum port and connect it to the blower port located on the power head. This allows the vacuum to function as a powerful air blower, ideal for clearing debris from hard-to-reach areas or blowing leaves.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum.
1. Emptying the Tank
After each use, especially after wet pickup, empty the collection tank. Release the latches on the power head and lift it off the tank. Dispose of collected debris or liquids properly. Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary, then dry thoroughly.
2. Filter Cleaning and Replacement
- Cartridge Filter: For dry use, tap the filter gently to dislodge dust. For thorough cleaning, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace the cartridge filter when suction power noticeably decreases or if the filter is damaged.
- Foam Sleeve: For wet use, rinse the foam sleeve with water and allow it to air dry. Replace if torn or damaged.
- Filter Bag: Filter bags are disposable and should be replaced when full or when suction is reduced.
3. Hose and Accessory Care
Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage regularly. Clear any obstructions to maintain airflow. Clean accessories with water and mild soap as needed.
