Setup and Assembly

1. Attaching the Hose

Insert the larger end of the 4 ft. x 1-1/4 inch hose into the vacuum port on the front of the unit. Ensure it is securely twisted into place for proper suction.

2. Installing Filters

  • For Dry Pickup: Place the reusable disc filter with its ring over the filter cage inside the tank. Ensure it covers the cage completely.
  • For Wet Pickup: Remove the reusable disc filter. Slide the foam sleeve over the filter cage.

3. Attaching Accessories

Attach the desired accessory (Gulper Nozzle or Crevice Tool) to the free end of the hose. Push firmly until it fits snugly.

4. Wall Mounting (Optional)

The vacuum includes a wall mount bracket for convenient storage. Secure the bracket to a sturdy wall using appropriate hardware (not included). Once mounted, the vacuum can be hung on the bracket, keeping your workspace clear.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top of the vacuum unit. Press the switch to the 'ON' position to start the vacuum and to the 'OFF' position to turn it off.

2. Wet and Dry Cleaning

Ensure the correct filter is installed for your cleaning task (reusable disc filter for dry, foam sleeve for wet). The vacuum is designed for powerful suction on both wet spills and dry debris.

3. Blower Function

To use the blower function, detach the hose from the front vacuum port and attach it to the blower port located on the back of the motor head. This converts the vacuum into a powerful air blower, useful for clearing leaves or debris from patios and driveways.

4. Portability

The compact size and integrated carry handle make this Shop-Vac easy to transport between different cleaning areas, including up and down stairs or to your vehicle.

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Collection Tank

Regularly empty the collection tank to maintain optimal suction performance. Unlatch the motor head from the tank and dispose of collected debris or liquids. Clean the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary.

2. Filter Cleaning and Replacement

  • Reusable Disc Filter: For dry use, tap off excess dust or rinse with water. Allow to air dry completely before re-installation. Replace if torn or damaged.
  • Foam Sleeve: For wet use, rinse thoroughly with water and allow to air dry completely before storage or next use. Replace if torn or damaged.

3. Hose and Accessory Care

Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage before and after each use. Clear any obstructions to ensure proper airflow. Store accessories in the provided tool holder.
