Setup

  1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the flashlight and its charging base from the packaging.
  2. Adjust the AC Plug: The AC plug can rotate 90 degrees to accommodate different outlet orientations. Gently rotate the plug to the desired position before inserting it into a wall outlet.

  3. Plug into an Outlet: Insert the device into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Ensure it is securely plugged in. The device will begin charging automatically.
  4. Initial Charge: For optimal performance, allow the flashlight to charge for at least 12 hours before first use.

Operating Modes

The THOVAS L100-2P features a slide switch on the side to select between different operating modes:

  • ON Mode: Slide the switch to "ON". The flashlight will turn on continuously. This mode is primarily for handheld use when detached from the base.
  • OFF Mode: Slide the switch to "OFF". The flashlight will remain off.
  • AUTO Mode (Default for plugged-in use): Slide the switch to "AUTO". In this mode, the device functions as both a night light and an emergency power failure light.
    • Night Light Function: The warm night light at the base of the unit will automatically turn on when the ambient light in the room darkens and turn off when sufficient light is detected.
    • Emergency Power Failure Function: If the power supply to the outlet is interrupted (e.g., during a blackout), the main LED flashlight will automatically illuminate, providing emergency lighting.

  • Handheld Flashlight Use: To use as a portable flashlight, simply lift the unit from its charging base. If the switch is in "AUTO" mode, the flashlight will automatically turn on. You can also slide the switch to "ON" for continuous light.

Charging

The THOVAS L100-2P charges automatically when plugged into a live wall outlet. The unit uses an induction charging base. Ensure the flashlight is properly seated on the base for continuous charging. A full charge provides approximately 7 hours of flashlight use.

Maintenance
