Setup and Assembly

The graduation candy boxes require simple manual assembly. Follow these steps to construct each box:

  1. Prepare the Box Base: Fold along all pre-creased lines of the box base to form the cube shape. Ensure all flaps are properly aligned.
  2. Secure the Box Base: Use the provided double-sided tape to secure the side flap of the box base, forming a sturdy cube. Press firmly to ensure adhesion.
  3. Prepare the Cap Top: Take one graduation cap top piece. Identify the small circular hole in the center.
  4. Attach the Tassel: Insert the small plastic button (part of the tassel assembly) through the circular hole in the center of the cap top. Secure it from the underside of the cap.
  5. Attach Cap to Box: Apply double-sided tape to the top edges of the assembled box base. Carefully align and press the assembled cap top onto the box base, ensuring the cap's square top is centered.
  6. Finalize Assembly: Ensure all parts are securely attached. The box is now ready to be filled.

Maintenance

These candy boxes are made of cardboard and are intended for single or limited use. To maintain their appearance:

  • Storage: Store unassembled boxes in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading.
  • Cleaning: Avoid contact with liquids. If necessary, gently wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solutions.
  • Handling: Handle with care to prevent creasing or tearing of the cardboard.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during assembly or use, consider the following common solutions:

  • Box Not Forming Correctly: Ensure all pre-creased lines are folded sharply. Sometimes, gently bending the cardboard against the crease helps.
  • Tape Not Sticking: Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before applying tape. Press firmly for several seconds after application. If the provided tape is insufficient, a stronger double-sided adhesive can be used.
  • Tassel Detaching: Ensure the plastic button of the tassel is fully inserted and secured through the cap's hole.
  • Cap Not Centered: Before pressing down firmly, gently adjust the cap's position on the box base to ensure it is centered.
