1. Product Overview

2. Compatibility

This 20V 2Ah Lithium-Ion battery is specifically designed for use with the PARKSIDE X 20V Team series of power tools. It is also compatible with specific Floorbest models.

Important: This battery is not suitable for other devices with 20V voltage that are not part of the PARKSIDE X 20V Team series. Always verify compatibility before use.

4.1 Initial Charging

1. Before first use, fully charge the battery using a compatible Kompernass or Parkside X 20V Team battery charger.
2. Connect the charger to a power outlet.
3. Insert the battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
4. Monitor the charger's indicator lights for charging status. The battery's 3-stage LED indicator will also show charging progress.
5. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

4.2 Installing the Battery

1. Ensure the power tool is switched off and disconnected from any power source (if applicable).
2. Align the battery with the battery slot on your compatible Parkside X 20V Team tool.
3. Slide the battery into the slot until it locks securely into place. You should hear a click.
4. Gently pull on the battery to ensure it is firmly attached before operating the tool.

5.1 Checking Battery Charge

The battery features a 3-stage LED indicator to show its charge level:

• Green / Orange / Red: Maximum charge / Full power
• Orange / Red: Approximately 50% charge / Medium power
• Red: Low charge / Low power. Recharge the battery soon.

5.2 Using the Battery with Tools

Once installed, the battery powers your compatible Parkside X 20V Team tool. Refer to your specific tool's instruction manual for detailed operating procedures.

5.3 Removing the Battery

1. Ensure the power tool is switched off.
2. Locate the battery release button(s) on the tool.
3. Press and hold the release button(s) while sliding the battery out of the tool's slot.
4. Store the battery safely as described in the Maintenance section.

6.1 Charging

• Always use the original or a compatible charger designed for Lithium-Ion 20V batteries.
• Do not overcharge the battery. Remove it from the charger once fully charged.
• Avoid charging in extreme temperatures. Charge in a well-ventilated area, ideally between 10°C and 40°C (50°F and 104°F).

6.2 Storage

• Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% capacity. Do not store fully charged or completely discharged.
• Keep the battery away from metal objects that could short-circuit the terminals.
• Store out of reach of children.

6.3 Cleaning

• Clean the battery casing with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Keep the battery terminals clean and free of debris.

7.1 Battery Not Charging

• Check Power Connection: Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
• Check Battery Connection: Make sure the battery is securely seated in the charger.
• Charger Compatibility: Verify that you are using a compatible charger for 20V Lithium-Ion batteries.
• Temperature: Charging may be inhibited if the battery or ambient temperature is too hot or too cold. Move to a suitable environment.
• Battery Damage: Inspect the battery for any visible damage. If damaged, do not attempt to charge or use.

7.2 Tool Not Operating with Battery

• Check Battery Charge: Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged (check the LED indicator).
• Battery Installation: Confirm the battery is correctly and securely installed in the tool.
• Tool Compatibility: Double-check that your tool is part of the PARKSIDE X 20V Team series.

7.3 Battery Overheating During Use

• Immediately stop using the tool and remove the battery.
• Allow the battery to cool down in a well-ventilated area.

• Dispose of batteries responsibly according to local regulations. Do not dispose of in household waste.
