Setup and Installation
Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses, ladder.
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker that supplies power to the light fixture outlet box. Turn the breaker to the OFF position. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Prepare Mounting: Attach the mounting bracket to the outlet box using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
- Adjust Height: The chandelier's height is adjustable from 33 inches to 81 inches. Determine the desired hanging height and adjust the chain/rod length accordingly. The fixture is compatible with sloped ceilings.
- Wiring: Connect the fixture's black wire to the house's black (hot) wire, the fixture's white wire to the house's white (neutral) wire, and the fixture's ground wire to the house's ground wire (or ground screw on the mounting bracket). Secure connections with wire nuts and electrical tape.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully lift the chandelier and secure the canopy to the mounting bracket, ensuring all wires are tucked safely inside the outlet box.
- Install Bulbs: Insert five candelabra-base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 60 watts per bulb.
- Restore Power: Turn the circuit breaker back to the ON position.

Operating Instructions
The Nilson chandelier operates via a standard wall switch (not included). Flip the switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
This fixture is dimmable. If connected to a compatible dimmer switch (not included) and using dimmable candelabra bulbs, you can adjust the light intensity to suit your preference.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and allow it to cool completely. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Bulb Replacement: Turn off power before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely. Unscrew old bulbs and screw in new candelabra-base bulbs (maximum 60 watts each).
