- USB Charging Jack: For connecting the USB charging cable.

- Select Saved Station / Key Lock (Long press): Short press to cycle through saved stations. Long press to lock/unlock all buttons.
- FM1-FM2-AM Switch / ATS (Long press): Short press to switch between FM1, FM2, and AM bands. Long press to activate Automatic Tuning Storage (ATS).
- Presetting Station / Deleting Preset Station (Long press): Short press to save a station. Long press to delete a saved station.
- Power / Mute: Short press to mute/unmute. Long press to power on/off the radio.
Setup
Charging the Battery
The HRD-103 features a built-in 500mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, or when the battery indicator is low, charge the device using the provided USB charging cable.
- Connect the micro-USB end of the charging cable to the USB Charging Jack on the radio.
- Connect the standard USB end to a USB power adapter (not included), a power bank, or a computer's USB port.
- Charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.
- A battery icon will appear on the screen during charging, indicating the charge level.

Attaching Lanyard/Hand Strap
For enhanced portability and security, attach the included lanyard or hand strap to the lanyard hook on the radio.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on the radio, long press the POWER button.
- To power off the radio, long press the POWER button again.
Volume Adjustment
- Use the VOLUME + button to increase the volume.
- Use the VOLUME - button to decrease the volume.
- To mute/unmute the sound, short press the POWER button.
Tuning Stations (AM/FM)
- Switching Bands: Short press the AM/FM SCAN button to cycle between FM1, FM2, and AM bands.
- Manual Tuning: Use the TUNER UP and TUNER DOWN arrow buttons to manually adjust the frequency.
- Automatic Scan (ATS): Long press the AM/FM SCAN button to activate Automatic Tuning Storage (ATS). The radio will automatically scan and save available stations to presets.
Preset Stations
The HRD-103 can store up to 58 radio frequencies (29 for FM, 29 for AM).

- Storing a Station: Tune to your desired station. Short press the MEMO/DEL button. The display will show a preset number. Use the TUNER UP/DOWN buttons to select a preset slot, then short press MEMO/DEL again to confirm.
- Recalling a Station: Short press the STORE M-/M+ buttons to cycle through your saved preset stations.
- Deleting a Station: Recall the station you wish to delete. Long press the MEMO/DEL button.
Key Lock Function
To prevent accidental button presses, use the key lock function.
- To lock the keys, long press the LOCK button (located next to the STORE M- button). A key icon will appear on the display.
- To unlock the keys, long press the LOCK button again. The key icon will disappear.
Using Earphones for Stereo Sound
For a private listening experience and to enjoy FM stereo broadcast, connect the included 3.5mm stereo earphones to the earphone jack.

Maintenance
- Keep the radio dry. Avoid exposure to rain, moisture, or liquids.
- Do not expose the radio to extreme temperatures.
- Clean the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the radio in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the radio to strong impacts.
Troubleshooting
