2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the rating label (230V).
  • Do not immerse the appliance, plug, or cord in water or other liquids.
  • Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before adding water, cleaning, or servicing.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  • Place the cooler on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
  • Do not use outdoors or in wet environments.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

4. Setup and Initial Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Positioning: Place the unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20cm of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Filling the Water Tank:
    • Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
    • Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line. The tank capacity is 4 litres.
    • For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs (after freezing them) into the water tank.
    • Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your air cooler can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the remote control.

5.1 Basic Functions

  • Power ON/OFF: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Speed Adjustment: Press the 'Speed' button repeatedly to cycle through the 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
  • Cooler/Humidifier Function: Press the 'Cooler' button to activate the evaporative cooling function. This will pump water from the tank to cool the air. Press again to deactivate.
  • Oscillation: Press the 'Swing' button to activate the 120° oscillating function, which distributes air evenly across the room. Press again to stop oscillation.
  • Timer: Press the 'Timer' button to set the auto-off timer. Each press adds 1 hour, up to a maximum of 4 hours (1H, 2H, 4H). The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

5.2 Special Modes

  • Natural Wind Mode: Press the 'Wind' button to activate natural wind mode, which simulates a natural breeze by varying fan speed.
  • Sleep Mode: Press the 'Wind' button again to activate sleep mode. In this mode, the fan speed gradually decreases to provide a quieter environment for sleep.

6. Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your air cooler.

6.1 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or other electrical parts.

6.2 Cleaning the Water Tank and Filter

  • Remove the water tank from the unit.
  • Empty any remaining water.
  • Clean the tank with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • The dust filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., weekly) by rinsing it under running water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
  • If the water in the tank appears discolored (e.g., brownish/yellowish), it indicates the filter needs cleaning or replacement.

6.3 Storage

  • Before storing, ensure the water tank is empty and clean, and the unit is dry.
  • Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • It is recommended to store the unit in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting
